    Poitiers is located on a major TGV high-speed train line. Poitiers is a mere 1:30 hour direct TGV ride from Paris-Montparnasse station (about 12 departures daily), a 2:15 hours from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (5 departures daily), 1:45 hours from Bordeaux, 3:50 hours from Lyon and 3:15 hours from Lille.
