The Society for Text & Discourse is proud to announce its Twenty-first Annual Meeting to be held in Poitiers, France, Monday through Wednesday, July 11-13, 2011.
The Society for Text & Discourse is an international society of researchers who investigate all aspects of text and discourse including processing and analysis. The purpose of the Society is to foster and promote excellence in research, to enhance communication among researchers in different disciplines, and to contribute to the education and professional development of those in the field or entering the field.
We invite students and scholars from various disciplines (e.g., psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, learning sciences, and others) to attend and participate in the 2011 Annual Meeting. We invite proposals for individual papers and posters presenting original research on text and discourse processing, representation, and analysis. Here are some of the topics that will be featured in the program of the 2011 meeting:

The DEADLINE for submitting proposals for the 2011 Annual Meeting is: February 11, 2011
In addition, if you have suggestions for Symposia or Themed Sessions, please send them (title, short description, list of potential contributors) to the Program Chair (jean-francois.rouet@univ-poitiers.fr) by January 21, 2011. Agreed upon symposium proposals will then have to be submitted following the same guidelines as regular proposals.
The International Program Committee will review the proposals and make decisions regarding acceptance, format, and arrangement into sessions. Authors will be notified of decisions by the end of March 2011.
