We are pleased to announce the 21st Annual Meeting of the Society for Text and Discourse, to be held in Poitiers, France, July 11-13, 2011.

Poitiers is located about 350 km southwest of Paris. It is easily reached by high-speed train from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle international airport or the Paris Montparnasse station.

The 2011 meeting will be organized by the Center for Research on Cognition and Learning at the University of Poitiers (CeRCA ).

The program will include workshops, invited lectures, spoken and poster presentations, and thematic symposia.

As organizers, we will promote interdisciplinary participation and emerging research developments in the area of text and discourse.

The meeting will take place at "Hotel Aubaret" a recently renovated historical building of the University of Poitiers located in the old town, within walking distance of the hotels.
